Silvena Sport Riding Club Association has several key goals. The first one is to promote the horse riding sport across Bulgaria. 

The second key goal is to promote the development of the East Bulgarian breed.  The improvement of the appearance, the muscles and the nature of this breed will largely depend on the careful selection of breeding horses.  They are of some of the best quality breeds in Germany and Europe: Holsteiner, Hanover, Oldenburg, Westfalian, Thoroughbred and so on.   The club has a number of wonderful broodmares that are predominantly mated with studs of those breeds.

The club possesses a unique horse – our talisman FIGARO. On his back, he wears something that every competitor and club is dreaming of: to be Number One! The figure 1 on his left side is a birthmark, it is not branded!  Regardless of his small height, he is in the breeding program of our club.  In the last decade of the 20th century, the East Bulgarian breed demonstrated its promising capacities at national and international  racings. As for the price/capabilities  ratio, there is a serious demand on this breed in foreign countries and it sells quite well. The horses that we have in the club have been selected on the basis of the past and current performance of the best horses of their pedigree lines.  The careful monitoring and analyses of several lines in the recent 30 years are the fundament on which the horse stock of our  club is based.  All that ensures the high quality of the selected horses, hence excellent racing performance can certainly be expected.   Another key g
