In the middle of 2007 the club started a new service: horses for rent  Considering that children and adolescents need to change their horses within short periods of time, the club offers flexible approaches to horse replacement when there is a need for better horse capabilities. Furthermore, we offer horse training to a certain level for a certain discipline in response to the horse owner’s needs. 

Our club was at the top at the Second East Bulgarian Test  for stallions and mares in Shumen on 17.11.2007. We wan the first and the fourth place with our stallions Amur and Darko. Last year, we had the second and the sixth place with our horses Vasal and Taver. The results make us believe that our young horses will achieve even better ranking.

As of 2008, the club started mating its mares with stallions of the world elite.   Some of them are perfectly known to the Holsteiner connoisseurs: Calido 1, Casini 2, Quidams Rubin and so on.  We will make interbreeding with other colts that are expected to rise to the top world ratings. Hopefully, we will have even better offspring in the future.

The horses of our club are trained in two disciplines predominantly: eventing and show jumping.  The evenitng horses in Bulgaria are more competitive to the European because of their lower price.   However, this applies only to the beginning and middle class horses.  As for the higher class, there are jockeys in the country but there is lack of horses. The reason is that Eventing is a difficult discipline in which horses are more likely to have traumas, hence owners would try to avoid risk and sell their animals as soon as they can.  Another reason is the fact that the process of building a high-class horse is longer, risky and often unsuccessful.  Anyway, we have ambitions to have horses trained for all disciplines in a couple of years.

Our first filly born after artificial insemination  was born on 24.11.2008.  We called her Venera Miloska (Venus of Milos). There is a belief that a horse’s name often predestines its life.  Let us hope that this is true and our Venera grows into a beautiful Venus although she was not born on the Greek island of Milos.    The filly’s sire Valentino is a promising young Hanoverian.  

In the end of 2008, the club purchased a  horse-practicing carousel for 6 horses. Hopefully, it will become a springboard for the individual training and development of all our horses.

After you break the horse at the age of 2, it must get physically strong. The most sensible start in sports is not at the age of 2 or 3, it is at the age of 4. In that period, the exercise machine is the best “rider”. The horse that you love has come to us.
